Silvia. Gazelle. 180SX. 200SX. 240SX. Whatever name it went by and in whichever market it was sold, the Nissan S-platform would provide the foundation for a durable, versatile sports car. A favourite of the drifting and track crowds, and with endless custom and personal touches by owners, Nissan's S-platform models have earned a special and unique place in the affections of amateur, enthusiast and professional alike.
The Silvia first appeared as a hand-built Fairlady-based sport coupe in 1964. However this vehicle was unrelated to the more well-known series of cars which would eventually bear the Silvia badge between 1974 and 2002.
